With decades of experience in hi-tech businesses, Mr. Hoang Nguyen is responsible for UVBC operation in the West Coast.  Graduated with a BS/MS in Information Systems and a MBA in Management from San Francisco University, Mr. Hoang has developed various business projects especially in IT, Import/Export, Logistics..

With a background in Human Resource Development in public and private sectors in Vietnam and in the US, Mr. Trung Trinh decided to return to Vietnam in 1994 to explore business  opportunities where he could fully utilize his skills and experience to become a catalyst for mutual cooperation between Vietnamese and American companies.

With a background in Human Resource Development in public and private sectors in Vietnam and in the US, Mr. Trung Trinh decided to return to Vietnam in 1994 to explore business  opportunities where he could fully utilize his skills and experience to become a catalyst for mutual cooperation between Vietnamese and American companies. 


His first project in Vietnam was to organize and operate the First American Product Showroom in July 1995 in Ho Chi Minh City in cooperation with the Foreign Trade Promotion Company, a trade promotion agency of the city government. 
 
As the Managing Partner of  Vietnam Resource Group, a consulting service firm based in Fairfax, Virginia, Mr. Trinh - a graduate of the Saigon Law School in 1972 - has been involved with many projects related to trade/investment/ training/ education. 


Throughout his business development activities in Vietnam and in the US, Mr. Trinh has created and maintained a well-established and reliable networks and resources that will be beneficial for UVBC members.

Peter Duong, Director of Member Services

 Phillip Nguyen, Founder and Chief Software Engineer of the  Digital Marketing Solutions -DMS -   a leading website design company headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan. 


DMS has been in the Information Technology business over two decades specializing in complex websites and digital marketing. 


 Besides running his company,  Phillip is responsible for UVBC's operation in the MidWest.

Peter Duong, Director of Member Services

 Peter Duong's professional experience includes time as a technology consultant, and currently managing a business intelligence team, specialized in data-analytics for a Hi Tek company in the Metropolitan Denver area .


As a first-generation Vietnamese American, Peter has extensive experience as a community organizer, and policy advocate. H

As a first-generation Vietnamese American, Peter has extensive experience as a community organizer, and policy advocate. He has been involved on various citizen boards such as the Municipal Arts Science Humanities Council, in Thornton, Colorado since 2024.


With a background and experience in community development,  Peter is working with UVBC as the Director of Membership Services  to further develop its network of members and partnerships  from industry partners to businesses in both the United States and Vietnam.

Ruby has been working as the CEO of the Asia Transport Logistics  Co. based in Ho Chi Minh City for more than 20 years.


In addition, Ruby  has been active as a Chairwoman of the Business Network International in Ho Chi Minh City.

Dat Ngo is a cross-cultural strategist, facilitator, and arts leader with more than 20 years of experience advancing leadership, community engagement, and organizational development across the nonprofit and cultural sectors. 


Most recently, Dat served as Vice President of Planning & Capacity Building and Associate Vice President of Leaders

Dat Ngo is a cross-cultural strategist, facilitator, and arts leader with more than 20 years of experience advancing leadership, community engagement, and organizational development across the nonprofit and cultural sectors. 


Most recently, Dat served as Vice President of Planning & Capacity Building and Associate Vice President of Leadership Transitions at Arts Consulting Group, where he advised arts and cultural organizations throughout North America on strategic planning, executive search, leadership development, and organizational assessment.  


As a US-born Vietnamese American with deep personal and professional ties to both the United States and Vietnam, Dat brings a bicultural perspective to his work, approaching every partnership with curiosity, humility, and a deep respect for cultural exchange.


He believes that the strongest partnerships are built on trust, mutual understanding, and a genuine appreciation for the strengths each culture brings to the table.


Graduated from Boston University with a BS in Film and Television, Mr. Ngo currently travels frequently between the US and Vietnam and he will be available to support our council members on Education and Cultural Exchange related  projects.
